BIDV is the largest state-owned commercial bank in Vietnam with regard to total assets and revenue in 2016, and is the fourth largest enterprise in Vietnam as reported by UNDP in 2007. BIDV is classified in a special class of state-owned enterprises that follow the model of State Corporations. In 2016, Zeit Media had the opportunity to organize the 25th anniversary of Transaction Office 1 – Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam.
